MakSchu Productions
MakSchu Productions is owned and operated by Christina and Karim Maksoud, both of whom have bachelor’s degrees in Motion Design from Ringling College of Art and Design. MakSchu Productions has spent the last 10 years creating promotional content through design, animation, livestreaming, and video campaigns for hundreds of brands.
The connections made through Ringling College and numerous local professionals have allowed them to bring specialists from different fields onto their projects and work on a wide range of portfolio pieces. They have had the opportunity to work with several major brands, including Bealls Inc., Champs Sports, Visit Sarasota County, Sarasota Opera House, U.S. Masters Swimming, Benderson Development, and Visit California, to name a few.
Some of these collaborations have led to awards, including Telly Awards, Local ADDYs, Online Video Trend Awards, Vega Awards, and District ADDYs. MakSchu Productions opened its Podcast Suite for hourly rental in early 2023, giving individuals and businesses the opportunity to get three-camera and audio edits for immediate upload.
While running their business, Christina and Karim make an effort to stay active in the local Sarasota community through volunteer work, participation on boards and organizations, and collaboration with local nonprofits.
